World Thinking Day is of great significance all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts internationally as we celebrate and give thanks on the birthdays of our Founders, Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, who had inspired and transformed the lives of so many millions of young people worldwide.

I'm sure all of you know by now, that we have been awarded with 2 Golds again this year. How is this possible without the determination and commitment put in by all of you? Well done and a BIG thank you to all of you. On a good note, let's thank Kwek Jia Yi and Azurah for they will be representing our Guides units to receive the awards from our Patron, Mrs. S R Nathan. Another good news to share ... We came in first in the Banner Competition for Thinking Day 2008. Good job to Mrs Tan and her talented and committed team for spending hours of planning and painting (under the hot sun??). Special thanks to Kezia again for her effort in drawing the pictures. Kezia will be representing us to receive this award. Go, Kezia!
