In alignment with GGS theme for 2008 “Discover your potential- Every Guide a leader” and the peace initiative, we will focus on Leadership and Peace.
Competitions Open to ALL Guides [ please give your name to the teachers]
1) “FUN Dress” challenge
Each unit may send a representative as the mascot, but have as many girls may dress up as a character and walk together.
Theme: Woman Leaders Past and Present
Idea: You may want to dress as leaders that have inspired you. Put on your creative juices and be original.
2) CHEER
Share your thoughts on “leadership” in the form of a cheer… create an original cheer routine accompanied with some movements with your cheers relevant to the theme “leadership”.
Rules:
- Cheer routines will be NON-STUNTING (no elevation and human tosses)
The cheer should not be longer than 3 minutes.
The cheer should be performed in English only.
Props can be used to enhance the performance.
3) Peace Message
Design a peace message for a patch on an A4 size paper and explain the meaning of the peace patch in no more than 10 sentences on another A4 paper.
